Copy Restrictions and Copyright Law

All of the Sun Savvy Home plans in our portfolio are protected under the U.S. copyright law. The purchaser of a Sun Savvy Home plan is entitled to build one residence per plan purchase and will receive a copyright release for this purpose. Under no circumstances are the plans purchased to be used for more than one residence. The designer of Sun Savvy Home plans retains all rights, title, and ownership of the original design and all documentation. This applies to all modifications made to Sun Savvy Homes, which are considered to be "derivatives" of the original Home plan.

Currently the fine for copyright infringement is $250,000 per occurrence, plus attorney fees.

Study plans do not include a copyright release to build. These are strictly to study the plan more closely and use as a tool to judge compatibility. The study set will be stamped with the disclaimer-"Study Set-Not For Construction-Do not issue Permit."

Sun Savvy Inc. disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness of purpose. Construction plans may not be returned for credit and/or refund under any circumstances. Sun Savvy Inc. is not liable for incidental, special, consequential, or indirect damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, loss of anticipated profits, business opportunity or other economic loss arising out of the use of service or any construction plans received from Sun Savvy Inc.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy, compliance with applicable statutes or regulations and fitness of purpose of any plans or construction information received from Sun Savvy Inc. prior to the use thereof. In the event that any liability is imposed on Sun Savvy Inc. , Sun Savvy Inc.'s liability to you or any third party shall not exceed the price paid for the Sun Savvy Inc. house plan product.

Sun Savvy Home plans were designed in accordance with local home building codes. Building codes vary drastically from one end of the country to the other, as a result, Sun Savvy Homes recommends that the home owner employ the service of a local structural engineer to size structural components in accordance with local codes. The home owner is responsible for ensuring compliance with local home building codes.

All of the home plans within this site are the sole property of Sun Savvy Inc. These house plans were not prepared by or checked by a licensed structural engineer and/or architect. Sun Savvy Homes does not imply nor represent itself as a licensed engineer and/or licensed architect.

Additional sets of blueprints may be purchased at discounted rate for up to 30 days after the original purchase of said plans. After that time period standard rates apply.
